MARC GUINAN is a local artist living in Dublin 15.  A recent Fine Art graduate of DIT with a background in construction, he continually allows this combined experience to influence and inform his art practice. This experience has also complimented and defined his line of enquiry and his ability to experiment and push the boundaries of paint. His physical exploitation of paint forces the viewer to reconsider the difference between paint and illustration. His work directly questions the space in which it is shown, whilst unlocking the possibilities of the materiality of paint. Guinan is commencing an MA in Art and Research Collaboration in IADT this autumn. www.marcguinan.com
