Documentation: Else[w]here symposium and tour, IADT, June 11, 2015

To mark the closing of the 2015 degree exhibition, IADT’s BA in Visual Arts Practice students hosted a symposium and tour on the theme of Else[w]here, exploring the attraction and potential (for artists and others) of actual and imagined places, and the experience of moving/working/living between places. Four invited speakers, Helen Carey, Vukasin Nedeljkovic, Kate Strain, Marysia Wieckiewicz-Carroll, presented informal responses to the theme, providing a starting point for an open discussion. This was followed by tour of the BA exhibition, led by Fiona Gannon and Christopher Mahon, both of whom are students on the ARC MA programme.

Biographies of the speakers are accessible here.

An audio recording of the four presentations and discussion can be accessed via Soundclound here.
